Rene Marie Russo is an American actor, filmmaker, and a former supermodel. The stunning beauty of Rene Marie is evident in her lengthy career as an actress and performer. As a young model, she started in the 70s. Her popularity quickly grew within the world of modeling. From the 80s onwards, she began taking acting classes and studied theater before appearing on stage in Los Angeles. Russo first appeared on TV in ABCs Sable in the role of Eden Kendell, in 1987. She was Tom Berengers' love interest two years later with Major League, her debut film. Critics, initially skeptical by her acting abilities however, eventually became convinced when they saw her constant performances. Rose Namajunas, one of the most well-known female UFC athletes, is a successful athlete. She started her career with amateur fights, in which she competed for various regional promotions. In the following years she joined Invicta Fighting Championships before joining Ultimate Fighting Championships (UFC). The success she has achieved both inside and outside of the Octagon has turned her into an international brand after she was a part of the UFC. Namajunas was born on June 29, 1992 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to a Lithuanian immigrants family. Rose participated in kickboxing and basketball as a child. She made her debut as a professional at the age of 18 for Invicta Fighting Championships in which she was able to win two fights via submission. The fights caught the eye to Dana White who signed her to join UFC Strawweight on December 14, 2014, when she was just 22. Rose has had highs & lows during her career. But she has always been a winner. Rose was a fighter against Carla Esparza at The Ultimate Fighter 20 Finale in April 2015. The winner was given the Women's Strawweight Championship and also won"Fighter of the Night. This was the first time a woman wrestled in a major event in a title fight. Namajunas kept winning wins, including two victories over Joanna Jedrzejczyk that earned her Best Performance of the Night award from UFC.
